Firefighter:
The Newburg Fire Department is an all volunteer department. If you are at least 16 years of age you can apply to join the fire department. NFD supplies you with all the equipment, and also arranges and pays for all of your training. All new members are placed on probation for the first year, and after the year of probation, and completion of all probationary requirements you may be accepted as a general member of the Newburg Fire Department.

Athletic Club Member:
The Newburg Fire Department Athletic Club is responsible for the care and maintenance of the park. The Fire Department is also responsible for the little league baseball program, and other recreational activities at the park.
